Paul is an international advanced badminton coach and stringer. He qualified as a stringer in May 1986 and coach in 1987.

As a badminton stringer, he was head stringer for Victor in 5 All England Championships, 1 World Championship and 2 Spain Masters in Barcelona. Paul was also official badminton and squash stringer at 2019 Island Games in Gibraltar.

Adding to his tournament experience, Paul has joined the UKRSA/Dunlop tennis stringing team for 23/24 season.

Aside from stringing, Paul is usually asked to speak at UKRSA meetings on the subject of marketing.
