Professional Stringers Course – Frinton on Sea Lawn Tennis Club – 17th & 18th September 2022 – NOW FULL –

The historic Frinton on Sea club will be the venue for a two – day course covering all aspects of racket servicing for Tennis, Squash and Badminton. Suitable for all abilities, whether an absolute beginner to stringing or an experienced stringer wishing to upgrade skills and knowledge, plus achieve the certification. https://www.fosltc.com
All equipment supplied, you will just need your enthusiasm, pen and paper. Those with a stringing machine may wish to bring it along to work on by prior arrangement with tutor David Hall. Coaches wishing to gain the 12 CPD points need to apply direct to the LTA after successful completion of the course. You may bring along some rackets to work on if you wish but please clean thoroughly first. Covid – masks not required but can be worn throughout if wished. We will be using a squash court, so plenty of space to work in. Certification awarded at the end of the course if sufficient progress made.
All racket servicing skills will be covered – Types of strings, why strings break, how strings perform on ball impact, stringing patterns, types of rackets, problem rackets, overcoming problems, stringing for players with specific needs, stencilling, re-gripping, setting up a stringing business and lots more.
Time – Course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5pm each day.
Food – The club has its own café which is open both days, and we will have a kettle, coffee/tea making facilities etc but please bring your own food for the day if you which.
