9.30am through to 5.30pm. Usual club facilities for refreshments, but perhaps bring your own food.

I will be your tutor for the day. We will have a selection of stringing machines, mostly electronic. The course is ideal for those new to stringing or those already stringing who wish to increase their skills and knowledge, plus achieve the certification by the end of the busy day.

You can bring along your own rackets to work on if you wish, we may have time and opportunity for them. Though I will have a comprehensive assortment of rackets, strings, tools and machines. All you need is pen and paper plus a large box of ENTHUSIASM!

The Aim of the course is to impart the skills and knowledge needed to service a racket to a professional standard. Apart from the actual stringing we will be looking at stenciling, understanding the different string types, selection of string and tension for varying needs of players, Tennis Elbow considerations, overcoming problems, setting up a stringing business and even getting involved in tournament stringing.
