This course is suitable for those starting to string or experienced stringers who wish to improve their skills and knowledge. Certification is awarded at the end of the course. Apart from the actual stringing techniques, we will also cover re-gripping, handle re-sizing, stencilling, grommet strip replacement, single grommet repair, machine selection and maintenance/calibration and how to run a successful stringing service. Dunlop electronic machine will be provided, plus Wilson Bairdo machine and manual lockout machine.
Any rackets brought to the course MUST be properly cleansed beforehand. We will have available a range of hand sanitisers for your use.
There will be a range of electronic and manual machines in use. Those wishing to bring their own machines to work on can do so by arrangement in advance. Please bring your own food, though there will be free tea/coffee etc provided throughout the day.
