
BADMINTON STRINGER Saturday 23rd August 2025 Wellingborough
Course venue – 22 Chaucer road, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire NN83NL. 9.30am start and 5.30pm finish. Lunch around midday.
Refreshments – Tea, coffee and cold drinks can be provided throughout the busy day, but please bring your own packed lunch.
Course members may bring along their own rackets to work on and tutor will decide if suitable.
Your course tutor for this event is Neil Peacock, a very experienced badminton tournament stringer. Neil will cover all of the basic racket servicing skills that will get you started if you are new to stringing, or enhance your existing skills and knowledge if you are already started. Neil will have two stringing machines available for you to use – Yonex PT9 electronic machine and a spring tension manual machine.
Certification – For those with previous good level stringing knowledge and skills and aiming to achieve the Badminton Stringer award, this may be issued at the end of the day provided a high standard is demonstrated. Those new to the racket servicing world will usually receive a UKRSA Badminton Stringer course attendance certificate later by post.
