Dunfermline – Tennis/Squash Stringer Course – Saturday, 31st October
Our one-day tennis/squash stringing course will be held once again on Saturday, 31st October. This very popular course will be in the Queen’s Hall, Charlestown KY11 3EG, near Dunfermline. The course will start promptly at 9:30am and finish at 4:30pm or slightly earlier, depending on how things progress. It will be a very busy day with lots to cover. The emphasis will be on the actual stringing skills.
The course is suitable for both complete beginners who wish to start off on the right foot and for experienced stringers wishing to upgrade their skills/knowledge and achieve the certification of Tennis Stringer or Squash Stringer. In any event, you will leave able to string a racket well and with a great deal of knowledge of the wider aspects.
Stringing machines will be provided, but – if anyone wishes to bring along their own machine then please let us know in advance. This course will cover either tennis or squash and on the day it’s your choice. There is no exam – provided the right skills and knowledge are achieved by the end of the day, a certificate will be awarded.
Tea & Coffee will be provided, but it is recommended that delegates bring their own lunch. Parking is available adjacent to the Hall. The course fee includes one year of UKRSA membership, which allows access to the UKRSA Technical Forum and to exchange information with the other stringers, great product discounts or even the chance to get involved in tournament stringing work. Tennis coaches earn 6 CPD credits upon successful certification.
Places are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment. After booking your place, you will receive a pre-course email around 10 days before the course date.
