WARRINGTON – Badminton Stringer course Sunday 14th August 2022

£199.00Your course tutor will be Paul Stewart, UKRSA Badminton Director and one of the UK’s top badminton stringers and coach,. He will take you through all of the racket servicing skills for badminton stringing and by the end of the day you will be able to string tennis rackets to a good standard. The course is suitable for those new to stringing, or those already stringing and who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge.
You are welcome to bring your own machine along, though there will electronic and manual machines. Let Paul know in advance. [email protected] A familiar machine can help to grasp new skills and knowledge.
The course will be run at 20 Woodbridge Close, Appleton, Warrington, Cheshire. WA45RD. If we have a big response then we will move to the nearby David Lloyd Club.
Course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5.00pm.
Course fee of £199 includes one years UKRSA membership which allows you to access the UKRSA Technical Forum where you will be able to chat about rackets and strings and no matter what problem you may come across, someone there has already got the answer! Free string/grip package worth £50. Plus UKRSA members have access to lots of product discounts from many brands.
Food – Bring along a packed lunch, tea/coffee etc will be provided.
Covid – Restrictions now eased off, but you may wear a mask if you wish throughout the day. All of the equipment and materials will have been cleansed in advance.
You may bring along your own rackets to work on if you wish and if time allows. There is so much to cover apart from the actual stringing. Gripping by itself can be a real skill!
Certification will be awarded at the end of the day if the right level of skills and knowledge is achieved.
