DESCRIPTION:This course will now NOT take place on 10th October. Hopefully around 2 weeks later\, tutor ill. Thanks\, Liam Nolan Snr.  \nThere will be another one-day course at this very popular club in London on Monday 10th October 2022. Your tutor will be another Liam Nolan! (My son) who has over 25 years experience of tournament stringing.and professional coaching. \nStarts off at 9.30am and will be finished by 5.30pm. Please bring your own food and drinks. There will be stringing machines provided\, though if anyone wishes to bring along their own machine then let Liam know in advance. This will cover either tennis or squash and on the course its your choice. Provided the right skills and knowledge are achieved then a certificate will be awarded at the end of the day. \nIt will be a very busy day\, so much to cover and emphasis will be on the actual stringing skills. Suitable for complete beginners who wish to start off on the right foot\, or for experienced stringers wishing to upgrade their skills/knowledge and/or to achieve the certification of Tennis Stringer or Squash Stringer. \nCourse fee includes one year of UKRSA membership which allows access to the UKRSA Technical Forum and to exchange information with the other stringers\, great product discounts or even get involved in tournament stringing work. DESCRIPTION:Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club \n \nWe have run several courses at this club over the years and this will be another I am sure. Cobh itself is a wonderful place with lots of history. The club has all the usual facilities and includes a bar so that we do not die of thirst. Its a 9.30am start and 5.30pm finish. \nThe UKRSA now offers one-day courses. These can be either TENNIS\, SQUASH or BADMINTON. The stringing techniques are broadly similar for all racket sports though. \nWe will provide all of the equipment\, no need to bring anything except pen and paper for notes. Anyone with their own machine can bring it along but let me know ASAP. \nCost is £199 or €236 Includes free strings selection\, one years UKRSA membership which allows you access to the hugely helpful Technical Forum\, plus discounts from various string companies. \nThe course is suited to all abilities. From complete novice wanting to start off on the right foot from the very start\, or for those already stringing who may wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge and also get the certification if all goes well. We will get the work done to professional standards. The UKRSA is in Partnership with Dunlop and we provide the tournament stringing teams for most of the tennis and all of the squash tournaments in the UK. You can bring along your own rackets to work on if you wish. \nI will be your tutor for this course. I started up the UKRSA back in 2002 and since then we have had over 3000 through courses of all kinds. Later on you may like to consider the other courses described on the UKRSA website. SUMMARY:Badminton Stringer Course - October 23rd
DESCRIPTION:Warrington – Your course tutor will be Paul Stewart\, one of the UK’s top stringers and coach. He will take you through all of the racket servicing skills for badminton stringing and by the end of the day you will be able to string badminton rackets to a good standard. The course is suitable for those new to stringing\, or those already stringing and who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge. \nYou are welcome to bring your own machine along\, though we will have electronic and manual machines. A familiar machine can help to grasp new skills and knowledge. \nThe course will be run at 20 Woodbridge Close\, Appleton\, Warrington\, Cheshire. WA45RD. \nCourse starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5.00pm. \nCourse fee of £199 includes one years UKRSA membership which allows you to access the UKRSA Technical Forum where you will be able to chat about rackets and strings and no matter what problem you may come across\, someone there has already got the answer!  UKRSA members have access to lots of product discounts from many brands. \nFood – Bring along a packed lunch\, tea/coffee etc will be provided. \nCovid – Restrictions now eased off\, but you may wear a mask if you wish throughout the day. DESCRIPTION:This will be a small course for up to two people at the UKRSA HQ in Norwich and run by Liam Nolan UKRSA  Founder & Technical Director. (One lady already booked in) \nIt will be a busy but enjoyable day of racket servicing\, looking at a wide range of rackets\, strings and ways to handle all of the routine servicing tasks such as stringing\, re-gripping\, stenciling\, mistakes to avoid\, different stringing machines and tools\, how to set up a small stringing business etc. \nThe course is suitable for complete beginners or those already stringing who wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge\, perhaps get the CPD coaching credits and also the certification. \nBring a packed lunch for yourself\, I can provide tea\, coffee\, water throughout the day. If all goes well then you will receive your signed certificate at the end of the day. You can bring along your own machine if you have one\, plus your own rackets to work on if you wish.
