SUMMARY:NORWICH - Professional Stringer course 19th & 20th April 2022
DESCRIPTION:Good to be resuming the courses in Norwich again\, this time in the new UKRSA HQ garden office and and we start off with a Professional Stringer course over two days. This covers tennis\, squash and badminton\, course members can be absolute beginners wishing to learn the skills and knowledge of racket servicing\, or perhaps those already stringing who wish to upgrade their stringing abilities and gain the certification. \nWe will have a selection of electronic and manual machines for course use\, but course members may bring along their own machine if they wish. Just let me know in advance. We will provide all the materials\, just bring pen and paper. \nWe will focus on the most challenging rackets and strings so that afterwards you should have little worries. Its a 9.30am start and 5pm finish each day. \nFood & drinks – Best to bring along your own packed lunch and drinks\, though we will have a kettle and tea/coffee/cold drinks & snacks provided. \nLTA CPD points – each day merits 6 points for coaches and these can be applied for after the course. \nCourse members will be given some free strings and grips to take away. DESCRIPTION:*Please note\, date of course not yet confirmed and may be subject to change*\nLocated in the beautiful area of Oxshott in Surrey lies the Oxshott Village Sports Club. \nOxshott Village Sports Club (ovsc.co.uk) \nThis course will cover squash stringing and other associated skills. \nIt’s aimed primarily at those wishing to learn how to string to a high standard or to those already stringing who wish to upgrade skills and knowledge whilst earning a certification. \nWe start at 9am and finish by 4:30pm. Maximum of 4 course members so please book early to avoid disappointment.\nElectronic stringing machines will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own machines – just let me know please. \nCourse fee of £199.00 includes one year UKRSA membership which gets you access to our technical forum and also the benefit from some great product discounts for members. So you will soon start to recover that course fee! \nPre-course technical information will be emailed to course members beforehand. \nTea\, coffee\, some snacks and water will be provided. SUMMARY:SOLIHULL - Professional Stringer course 26th & 27th April 2022

The Solihull Arden Club was founded back in 1873. Ideal for both beginners (and those already stringing) wishing to learn the skills of racket servicing across all racket sports. We will have electronic and manual machines for you to use. All materials provided. You may bring along your own racket to work on if there is time. 9.30am start and 4.30pm finish both days. Your tutor will be Liam Nolan UKRSA Technical Director and former Wimbledon Head Stringer. The club has excellent facilities. Tennis coaches will appreciate the six CPD points per day of the course. These should be applied for direct to the LTA after the course.\nCovid – masks are not required\, but you may wear one if you wish. \nYou can “click & book” on the site or contact Liam at liam@ukrsa.com direct\, plus ask as many questions as you wish. There is no actual Test at the end. Provided you have worked hard and achieved a reasonable level of skills and knowledge then you can expect to receive your certification at the end of the course. If not then you may attend another similar course again for half price. It will be a friendly but busy two days. You should end up being capable of restringing rackets to a professional standard\, plus regripping and other general racket servicing tasks.
