SUMMARY:Inverness - Tennis/Squash One-day Stringing Course - Monday\, 9th November
DESCRIPTION:Our one-day tennis/squash stringing course will be held once again on Monday\, 9th November.  This very popular course will be in the Charleston Academy Community Complex\, Kinmylies\, Inverness  IV3 8ET.  The course will start promptly at 9:30am and finish at 4:30pm or slightly earlier\, depending on how things progress.  It will be a very busy day with lots to cover. The emphasis will be on the actual stringing skills. \nThe course is suitable for both complete beginners who wish to start off on the right foot and for experienced stringers wishing to upgrade their skills/knowledge and achieve the certification of Tennis Stringer or Squash Stringer.  In any event\, you will leave able to string a racket well and with a great deal of knowledge of the wider aspects.  Stringing machines will be provided\, but – if anyone wishes to bring along their own machine then please let us know in advance.  This course will cover either tennis or squash and on the day it’s your choice.  There is no exam – provided the right skills and knowledge are achieved by the end of the day\, a certificate will be awarded. \nTea & Coffee will be provided\, but it is recommended that delegates bring their own lunch.  There are also shops a short walk away.  Free parking is available at the venue.  The course fee includes one year of UKRSA membership\, which allows access to the UKRSA Technical Forum and to exchange information with the other stringers\, great product discounts or even the chance to get involved in tournament stringing work.  Tennis coaches earn 6 CPD credits upon successful certification. \nPlaces are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.  After booking your place\, you will receive a pre-course email around 10 days before the course date.

SUMMARY:Badminton Stringer Course - Epsom (close to M25) - Saturday 21st November 2026
DESCRIPTION:This is another opportunity to join one of our very popular Badminton specialist stringer courses based in the South of England at Ebbisham Sports Club in Epsom\, Surrey. \nYour course tutor will be Martin Creasey\, a very experienced racket technician and current Surrey County and England Masters Badminton player. He will take you through all of the racket servicing skills for badminton stringing and by the end of the day you will be able to string badminton rackets to a good standard. The course is suitable for those new to stringing\, or those already stringing and who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge. \nIf you have your own machine\, please bring it to practice on. We will check this is correctly set up for you. An electronic and manual crank machine will also be provided for those who do not yet have their own machine. \nIf you do not yet own your own machine\, please discuss options with the course tutor before buying one. Many machines on the market are designed primarily for tennis and are not suitable for badminton without modification or upgrade. Recently we have seen several course attendees who have already purchased machines which are not suitable for badminton. \nYou may bring along your own rackets to work on if you wish  but please do not expect to string your competition racket at the course. Practice rackets and string will be provided. There is a lot to cover and we will tailor the course content according to your needs. \nThe Course starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5.00pm. \nCourse fee of £299 includes one years UKRSA membership which allows you to access the UKRSA Technical Forum where you will be able to chat about rackets and strings.
