This time round its a one-day Tennis Stringer OR Squash Stringer course. We will be covering all aspects of racket servicing across tennis and squash\, suitable for both those new to stringing or those already stringing who may wish to upgrade their skills and knowledge\, perhaps tennis coaches aiming to achieve 6 CPD points. Ages 12yrs to 112yrs! You can focus entirely on either tennis or squash. \nWe are located on a squash court\, so plenty of room\, refreshments provided\, please bring your own food.  Your tutor for this course is Liam nolan\, UKRSA Technical Director & Founder who is also a squash coach who has played many matches on the court! Resident club stringer and British Open stringer Neil Gridley will also be instructing. \nThose already stringing may wish to bring along their own machine to use. We can then get it checked out\, tensioning calibrated etc. You can bring along some rackets to restring if you wish as we may have enough time. DESCRIPTION:The beautiful South Down Sports Club near Lewes will be the venue for a two – day course covering all aspects of racket servicing for Tennis\, Squash and Badminton. Suitable for all abilities\, whether an absolute beginner to stringing or an experienced stringer wishing to upgrade skills and knowledge\, plus achieve the certification. https://www.southdownsportsclub.co.uk/ \nAll equipment supplied\, you will just need your enthusiasm\, pen and paper. Those with a stringing machine may wish to bring it along to work on by prior  arrangement with tutor Steve Bloomfield. Coaches wishing to gain the 12 CPD points need to apply direct to the LTA after successful completion of the course. You may bring along some rackets to work on if you wish but please clean thoroughly first. Covid – masks not required but can be worn throughout if wished. We will be using a squash court\, so plenty of space to work in. The Solihull Arden Club was founded back in 1873. Ideal for both beginners (and those already stringing) wishing to learn the skills of racket servicing across all racket sports. We will have electronic and manual machines for you to use. All materials provided. You may bring along your own racket to work on if there is time. 9.30am start and 4.30pm finish both days. Your tutor will be Liam Nolan UKRSA Technical Director and former Wimbledon Head Stringer. The club has excellent facilities. Tennis coaches will appreciate the six CPD points per day of the course. There is no actual Test at the end. Provided you have worked hard and achieved a reasonable level of skills and knowledge then you can expect to receive your certification at the end of the course. DESCRIPTION:The Dunlop Sports HQ building in Lingfield House in Darlington will be the venue for either the Tennis Stringer or Squash Stringer course. Starting at 9.30am and running through to 6pm\, we will cover all aspects of racket servicing. This course is suitable for those starting to string or experienced stringers who wish to improve their skills and knowledge. Certification is awarded at the end of the course. Course fee includes one years UKRSA membership\, which allows access to the UKRSA members forum and manufacturers discounts. Apart from the actual stringing techniques\, we will also cover re-gripping\, handle re-sizing\, stencilling\, grommet strip replacement\, single grommet repair\, machine selection and maintenance/calibration and how to run a successful stringing service. Dunlop electronic machine will be provided\, plus Wilson Bairdo machine and manual lockout machine.\nAny rackets brought to the course MUST be properly cleansed beforehand. We will have available a range of hand sanitisers for your use.\nThere will be a range of electronic and manual machines in use. Those wishing to bring their own machines to work on can do so by arrangement in advance.
