SUMMARY:LINCOLN - Tennis Stringer or Squash Stringer one-day course Sunday 9th November 2025. 6 CPD points for LTA coaches.
DESCRIPTION:Venue – Eastgate\, tennis/squash/bowls club\, Langworthgate\, Lincoln. LN24AD – https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/EastgateClub/ The club is set in truly beautiful grounds\, close to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. Free large car parking.\nThis will be a very busy day that covers all aspects of racket servicing for either TENNIS or SQUASH. Suitable for complete beginners wishing to grasp new skills and knowledge properly or for experienced stringers wishing to upgrade their their existing skills/knowledge and achieve the UKRSA Certification of TENNIS STRINGER or SQUASH STRINGER. Starts at 9.30am and finishes at 5.30pm. Your course tutor will be Liam Nolan\, UKRSA Founder & Technical Director. \nWe will be using manual and electronic machines. Bring along your own rackets to work on if you wish as that may be possible\, though we will have a full range of assorted rackets for use. Your course fee includes one years UKRSA membership so that you can access the UKRSA Technical Forum and share all sorts of information. If you wish to bring your own machine to work on let me know in advance and arrive by 9am.\nAll materials provided. \nWe will cover a very wide range of tasks such as string constructions\, choosing the correct string and tensions\, gripping\, grip enlarging\, string patterns\, grommet replacement\, stencilling\, different weaving methods\, tools and their uses\, machine types and lots more. Its YOUR day and a chance to ask as many questions as you wish! Pen and notebook will be handy. \nPlease bring your own food and drinks in case the clubs bar is not open. There is no “Final Test” but hopefully all course members will be receiving the certificates at the end of the course. Anyone unable to achieve the levels of skills and knowledge on the course can attend any further course for free to get up to the right standards. This course attracts 6 CPD points for LTA coaches for successful attendance.
