For those who may wish to carry on learning, the course contents lay down the foundations for the USRSA Certified Stringer and ultimately the Master Racket Technician award. You will be given more information during the course. All racket sports covered.
Those already stringing may bring along their own machine to work on if they wish. You may bring along some rackets to work on if you wish. We will provide all materials needed and use both electronic and manual machines. Purchasing a new stringing machine is a real minefield, so please wait for our advice before buying one, plenty of poor quality machines out there! All you may need is pen and paper to make some notes. No age limits, 12 yrs old up to 100 yrs old is fine.
Food – free tea, coffee, water etc all day but bring a packed lunch for yourself.
You can struggle on for years and make many expensive errors when stringing rackets, so this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to do things to a high standard and never have to worry. For those wishing to start up their own stringing business, this is the best possible start. If you achieve the required level of skills and knowledge on the course then you will receive your certification at the end. Course tutor will be Liam Nolan UKRSA Founder & Technical Director. USRSA Master Racket Technician and Certification tester.
